EVALUATION PROCESS
During all internships candidates will be continually monitored and assessed by Counselors, The New Village School staff and work superiors.
The fist assessment will be made at the beginning of the Program on the following aspects of the interns activities: preparation for the internship; suitability for the internship; relevant knowledge and skills.
The second assessment will be made after 8 weeks from the beginning of the Program. The assessed aspects of the interns activities will be: interest; initiative; communication skills; quantity of contributions; quality of contributions; coping with strain.
The third assessment will be made after 12 weeks from the beginning of the Program. The assessed aspects of the interns activities will be: reliability in work; independence in work; perseverance in work; leadership skills; work pace.
In the final assessment, made at the end of the internship (13-16 weeks) , all of the above aspects of the interns activities will be assessed in relationship to the final result obtained. Relevant evolution or regress made in activities will be mentioned. A final appraisal of the overall development of the intern during internship will be given together with comments from other interns, teachers, The New Village School staff, and Student's quality questionnaires.
The first, second, third and final evaluation and all the written comments and questionnaires will be handed to each intern at the end of the internship. Together with the above folder, interns will receive:
