The teaching approach is strictly communicative and the student is encouraged to express himself while pondering the linguistic and grammatical peculiarities of the Italian Language. The aim is to develop the diverse skills - especially expressive fluency and grammatical accuracy - so as to make it possible for our students to interact in the situations both of daily life and working world. An initial placement test, taken before the course begins, estabilishes the student's level of Italian. At the end of the course, students are examined in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Upon appropriate completion of the exam, both regular students and outside students who have paid the required fee, are offered a "Certificate of Studies". The "Certificate of Studies" have been calibrated on the Council of Europe Levels. It
is possible to start a course on the first working day of the month The classes are composed of a maximum of twelve students of diverse nationalities. Each group works with two teachers, and the lessons are conducted exclusively in Italian. The hours of daily classroom time are divided between two separate courses of grammatical structure and vocabulary, and expression and conversation. One class hour has the duration of 60 minutes.
